When Kiara Advani Told Us Who Orry Is Way Before He Took Over Our Instagram Feed

In the June 2019 videos, Orry gushed about Kiara Advani and wished Shahid Kapoor, her 'Kabir Singh' co-star, and their movie all the best.

The filmmaker Karan Johar was also interested in finding out about Orry's job.

New Delhi: The world is curious in Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, an internet sensation and many Bollywood celebrities' best pal. An old video of Kiara Advani mentioning Orry in a Zoom interview has surfaced. 

In the June 2019 videos, Orry gushed about Kiara Advani and wished Shahid Kapoor, her 'Kabir Singh' co-star, and their movie all the best. Shahid asked Kiara who Orry was once his video message had ended. 

"This is Orhan Awatramani," she replied.

"His brother (Kabir Awatramani) was in my class, and he was my junior in school. And this (Orry's video message) was really sweet," she added.

When Shahid said, "He (Orry) was really happy for you," Kiara replied, “Yes, genuinely he was like... this is a surprise. That's really sweet... I was like 'Oh Orhan from school'. Very cute.”

In his video message to Kiara, Orry can be heard saying, “Hi Kiara, I just want to say such a big congratulation on your new movie Kabir Singh. I remember I used to see you in high school every other day. You were my vice-captain. And now I am seeing you all over Instagram every day, and all over the television. I want to say that you are so full of life and so full of energy, and I am so proud of how far you have come and how hard you have worked. I wish you and Shahid the biggest congratulations.”

The filmmaker Karan Johar was also interested in finding out about Orry's job, just like a lot of people on social media.  However, as they discussed Orry in the most recent Koffee With Karan 8 episode, even close pals Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday didn't know much about him.

"Who is Orry?" Karan Johar asked in the third episode of season 8 of Koffee With Karan. In response, Sara Ali Khan had said, "Who doesn't know who Orry is?" "Someone didn't know and I tried to explain who Orry is. And he told me that he is ‘loved but misunderstood.’ I think he is going by that now,” Ananya Panday added.
