Their rather tumultous relationship was covered extensively by the media until the two broke off. Recently, a  fan pade shared an old clip of an interview with Simi Garewal featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan where she was asked about the 'sexiest man' at the time.

Aishwarya Rai is seen speaking with an accent. She begins with a short laughter, which many on the clip's comment feed called 'fake'. The 'PS1' actor then takes some time to think about her answer to say that probably Indian men who make it on interntaional lists and all, so maybe Salman Khan. Aishwarya then went on to explain that speaking in the manner of physical features, Salman could be the right fit.

To this Simi Garewal says,"I think he has got very perfect features.."

Soon after the video began doing the round, users flooded the comments thread. A comment read, "The accent the laugh = my ears bled," while another said, "And here I thought Hritik Roshan 😅."

Another comment read, "Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, I'll never understand what people in India see in them," another pointed out the 'fake laugh' while a person said,"She knew the answer even b4 she asked the question."
