“I just want to add one more thing, which is very personal, so please excuse me if I’m stepping beyond boundaries. But I think the role she’s going to play the best, Inshallah, is that of a mother now with Dua. I think she’s really going to be a wonderful mother,” Shah Rukh said, drawing emotional reactions from the audience.

Deepika and Ranveer Singh became parents on September 8, 2024, when the actress gave birth to a baby girl. In November that year, the couple announced her name: Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह. Deepika Padukone has been on a break from work since she announced her pregnancy in February 2024.
