Taapsee Pannu Will Not Release Her Wedding Photos, Says Not Ready For 'Scrutiny That Happens When...'

Taapsee Pannu has finally addressed the rumours surrounding her secret wedding with longtime partner Mathias Boe in Udaipur.

New Delhi: Taapsee Pannu’s wedding video leaked on social media and went viral in no time. After reports of Taapsee getting married to longtime partner Mathias Boe, she has finally addressed the rumours surrounding her secret wedding ceremony in Udaipur. In an interview with HT City, Taapsee confirmed her marriage and shared that she wanted privacy during the event.

Taapsee Pannu talked about her wedding publicly for the first time. However, when the newlywed was asked if she would make an official announcement or release her wedding photos on social media, Taapsee said she has no such plans.

Taapsee said in the interview, “I just am not very sure if I want to let my personal life and the people involved in it, to go through the kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married. It’s me who has signed up for this, not my partner, not the people who were involved in the wedding. I am not sure about how I feel about it being out there, that’s why I’ve kept it to myself.”

Taapsee Pannu has no plans to release her wedding photos

Taapsee also went on to clarify that she did not intend to keep the wedding a secret. She added that her close friends and family were involved in the celebration.

"I have no plans for a release (of wedding photos and details) of any kind. I don’t think I am mentally prepared to put that out right now. I knew people who were there, they wanted to be there for me and were not present to judge, that’s why I was pretty relaxed… In the future, if I get comfortable sharing about it (wedding details), we will figure out how, what and when I want to release something if at all,” she added.

According to a report by News18, Taapsee Pannu tied the knot with badminton player Mathias Boe on March 23. Amid rumours of their wedding, producer-writer Kanika Dhillon and actor Pavail Gulati dropped some pictures from Taapsee and Mathias's wedding venue. Later, a brief clip of Taapsee and Mathias' varmala ceremony circulated on social media.
