Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent victims on April 22, 2025. As the nation mourns this brutal act of terrorism, several prominent personalities, including film industry veterans, have come forward to express their grief and stand in solidarity with the victims' families.
Suniel Shetty’s Statement on Kashmir and Unity
In a viral video circulating on social media, Shetty passionately voiced his support for the people of Kashmir and emphasized the importance of national unity during these testing times.

Shetty further urged citizens not to fall for the divisive agenda of terrorists who aim to create discord among Indians. He highlighted that the local Kashmiri population is not to blame for the violence occurring in the region.

He continued with a call for unity and courage: "Is waqt hume ek jut hoke rehna hai. Jo dar, jo hatred voh faelane ki koshish kar rahe hain, uske behkawe mein na aate hue, ekatr hoke, unko dikhana hai ki Kashmir humara tha, humara hai, aur humesha humara rahega. Aur isliye fauj jo hai, neta jo hai, sab lage hue hain is cheez mein.("Right now, we need to stay united. Those who are trying to spread fear and hatred — without falling for their manipulation — we must come together and show them that Kashmir was ours, is ours, and will always remain ours. That’s why the army, the leaders, everyone is involved in this effort.")
Suniel Shetty also expressed his personal commitment to Kashmir by stating that his next holiday will be in Kashmir, encouraging fellow Indians to continue visiting the valley without fear.
