Jonas Who? Priyanka Chopra’s Daughter Has A Delicious Twist On Their Name

On The Tonight Show, Priyanka Chopra revealed her daughter Malti calls the Jonas Brothers ‘The Doughnut Brothers’, leaving fans amused. She also spoke about her new film Heads of State.

Priyanka Chopra made a charming return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she not only promoted her upcoming action-comedy Heads of State but also delighted audiences with anecdotes about her daughter, Malti Marie. Among the highlights was a hilarious revelation, Malti refers to the Jonas Brothers as 'The Doughnut Brothers'.

The actress’ appearance was highly anticipated as it marked her return to Fallon’s couch after several years. While she discussed her professional commitments, it was her candid stories about motherhood and family life with Nick Jonas that won hearts.

“She’s a Little Comedian”: Priyanka on Daughter Malti

Priyanka opened up about Malti’s growing personality and her flair for comedy, saying,
“She’s precocious, she’s funny, she’s a little comedian. She knows she’s funny, so that’s even better. Yeah, she’s such a light of our lives right now.”

The actress added that while she’s currently shuttling between India and the U.S. for her shoots, Malti is enjoying her East Coast summer, attending school and socialising with her baby friends. “There are so many classes. Kids do so much… She wants to socialise with other babies,” Priyanka noted, emphasising how packed her daughter’s little schedule is.

Malti’s Obsessions: Moana & Her 'Morning Song'

Priyanka also revealed that Malti is a major Moana fan and lives in the Disney fantasy world all day.
“She wears a Moana dress all day and Moana 2 is her favourite,” she said, adding that her daughter has a broad taste in music.
“APT is her favourite song, by the way. Every morning. Morning song,” the actress said with a laugh.

However, when Fallon asked if Malti recognises her dad Nick Jonas or his band’s songs, Priyanka shared the funniest response of the night.

“She doesn’t identify them,” Priyanka said about Malti’s reaction to Jonas Brothers’ music, “but she calls them ‘The Doughnut Brothers’… Isn’t it amazing? We should merch that… Let’s make that into the new Labubu.”

The quirky nickname instantly caught attention online, with fans already picturing “Doughnut Brothers” merchandise.

What’s Next for Priyanka Chopra

On the work front, Priyanka was on The Tonight Show to promote Heads of State, her upcoming Hollywood film co-starring Idris Elba and John Cena. In parallel, she's shooting her much-awaited Indian film with Mahesh Babu, directed by SS Rajamouli. The actress has been frequently travelling to Hyderabad for key scenes.

With a Hollywood blockbuster on the way and a high-profile Indian project underway, Priyanka is proving she can juggle international stardom and motherhood — with a sense of humour intact.
