On January 18, devotees gathered at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti in Ajmer to offer special prayers for the health and speedy recovery of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Fans and well-wishers of the actor prayed for his long life, offering their prayers at the sacred Jannati gate and seeking divine blessings for his quick healing.

The prayers were led by Khadim Qutubuddin Sakhi, who is associated with Bollywood, and he expressed his heartfelt wishes for Saif Ali Khan’s swift return to health. Speaking to the media, he explained that the prayers were organized after Saif was seriously injured during an attack at his Mumbai residence. A miscreant, intent on robbing the actor, broke into his apartment and demanded a ransom of ₹1 crore. The assailant then proceeded to injure the family’s nanny and later attacked Saif Ali Khan with a blade, stabbing him six times before fleeing the scene.

Saif, who bled heavily from the wounds, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in an autorickshaw by his family. After undergoing surgery, he is reported to be stable and recovering. During the prayer ceremony, devotees, along with Saif's fans, prayed for his health and offered holy threads for his long life.

Accused arrested

The accused in the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan has been arrested by Mumbai police from Hiranandani Estate in a late-night operation. The accused has been identified as Vijay Das, a waiter at a restaurant in Mumbai, said the police, adding that he has confessed to having committed the crime. 

Kareena Kapoor staying away from the house

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor shared her ordeal with the police, revealing that following the attack, she and her sons, Taimur and Jeh, have been staying at her sister Karisma Kapoor's house. She was quoted saying, “I was left terrified after the attack, so Karisma brought me and the kids to her home for safety.”
