After the 'Friends' actor's passing, the photo—in which he signed himself as 'Mattman', referring to Batman—went viral. Interestingly enough, Perry mentions the name and shares pictures of Batman's popular symbol in nearly every one of his October Instagram posts. Fans started digging into the actor's reasons for using the bat symbol when he started posting it frequently.
The people who follow him are en masse asking him whether he is requesting help in the comments sections of his Instagram photos.
In one of the posts, he shared a brief video of the moon along with the words, “Do you understand what I'm trying to tell you? - I'm Mattman.”

Fans kept on asking the actor whether this was a plea for help in response to the Instagram pictures.
“It was a cry for help. Batman signal but no one came ./ Goodbye Chandler Bing,” one of the comments read. “What was he trying to tell us? Wish I had seen this posts sooner. Watching friends won’t be the same,” another person wrote. “Are you okay, should we send for help?” a fan asked. “Are all these posts a puzzle, Mattman?” another said.
In the past, Matthew Peery had been open about his battle with addiction; according to sources, no drugs were found at the scene of his death, and a friend who had just spoken with him described him as "sober".
