New Delhi: Actress and influencer Kusha Kapila has spoken out against comedian Samay Raina's hurtful remarks on her split from Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. Foer the unversed, Kusha made an appearance on a roast programme with Samay Raina and other comedians and the former brought up her divorce. The show suppressed several of Raina's "jokes" since they touched on sensitive topics including Kapila's marriage, divorce, and sexual life. 

Even though Kusha Kapila seemed to be enjoying herself during the roast, the actress has now spoken out about the incident. Many curious fans sent her insightful questions on her private life during a recent Instagram AMA session. A fan on social media wanted to know how Kusha dealt with the vicious roast of Samay, and she wrote: “Not my first time on the rodeo. In the large scheme of things, nothing matters. Probably when I have processed all of it, will speak about it on a level-headed podcast (lol do we have any) or maybe never. We will see. This profile continues to be a safe space for my female and queer followers."

Kusha Kapila's Divorce

After dating for a while, Kusha Kapila and Zorawar Ahluwalia tied the knot in 2017. In June 2023, they announced their separation. Taking to social media, they wrote,  “Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure, but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continue to mean everything for us, but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all until we couldn’t anymore.”
