Kareena, Saif, Malaika & Amrita Visit Karisma Kapoor After Sunjay Kapur’s Death

Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, & Amrita Arora visited Karisma Kapoor’s home following the death of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur. Security remains tight for Saif after his knife attack

In an emotional gathering on Thursday night, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, and Amrita Arora were seen arriving at Karisma Kapoor’s residence following the untimely death of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur, who reportedly died from a heart attack during a polo match in the UK.

Kareena, visibly distressed, arrived late at night alongside Saif, offering support to her sister in this time of grief. The presence of close friends and family highlighted the strength of bonds within the Bollywood fraternity during times of personal tragedy.

Saif Under Tight Security After Past Knife Attack

Security was noticeably heightened around the couple. The precaution stems from a knife attack on Saif Ali Khan earlier this year in January 2025, when he was stabbed multiple times during a suspected robbery at his Mumbai home. One of the wounds was dangerously close to his spine. Since then, increased security has accompanied the actor during most public appearances.

On Thursday, Kareena wore a blue striped shirt and avoided the media glare, while Saif, dressed in a dark blue t-shirt and glasses, followed closely behind. Mumbai police officers were stationed near the residence as part of the enhanced security protocol.

Malaika & Amrita Arora Join to Offer Support

Earlier in the evening, Malaika Arora, her sister Amrita Arora, and Shakeel Ladak visited Karisma’s residence to extend their condolences. Malaika, in a light beige ensemble, was seen conversing quietly with family members behind a glass door before leaving the premises, her expression somber and reflective.

Their presence underscored the close-knit nature of Bollywood's inner circle, rallying around Karisma during this profound loss.

Sunjay Kapur’s Final Message

Sunjay Kapur, aged 53, was a prominent businessman and chairman of Sona Comstar. Known for his involvement in motorsports and polo, he was a key figure in elite sporting and industrial circles. Hours before his death, Sunjay had posted on X, “Terrible news of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad… May they find strength in this difficult hour.”

Sunjay married Karisma in 2003. The couple, who share two children, Samaira and Kiaan, separated in 2014 and divorced in 2016. He later married Priya Sachdev in 2017 and had a son, Azarias, also co-parenting Priya’s daughter from a previous marriage.

As the film and business worlds mourn his passing, Karisma remains surrounded by the warmth and support of her family and friends.
