According to celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, the actor has followed the same daily diet since 2007.
In a recent conversation with The Lallantop, Rujuta shared fascinating insights about Kareena’s long-standing food plan, revealing that the actor’s approach to health has been rooted in balance, simplicity and tradition.
What Does Kareena Eat in a Day?
Rujuta disclosed Kareena’s daily meal structure, which starts with dry fruits like almonds, raisins or figs the moment she wakes up. Breakfast typically includes paratha or poha, followed by dal and rice for lunch. In the evening, the actor snacks on either cheese toast or seasonal treats like mango or mango milkshake. Dinner is kept light yet comforting with khichdi with ghee or pulao.

“Kareena has been following the same diet for the past 18 years,” Rujuta noted, explaining that the consistency stems from how well the plan suits the actress’s body and lifestyle.
Khichdi: Bebo’s Go-To Comfort Food
While her global travels and Punjabi roots define her love for diverse cuisines, Kareena’s heart belongs to khichdi. Rujuta revealed that this simple, homemade dish is a staple in Kareena’s weekly menu. The actress had earlier spoken about her love for khichdi at Rujuta’s book launch in April this year, saying she can’t even sleep at night if she knows the dish is missing from her diet.
Kareena’s Film Slate Looks Just as Balanced
On the professional front, Kareena had two big releases in 2024: the heist comedy Crew alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon, and Rohit Shetty’s action-packed Singham Again. Up next, she’s set to appear in Meghna Gulzar’s crime-drama Daayra, where she will share screen space with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
