Kapil Sharma Slams IndiGo Airline Over Flight Delays

Kapil Sharma and director Vivek Agnihotri have slammed a major airline for "lying" and their excruciatingly late service.

New Delhi: After a well-known airline postponed takeoff, Kapil Sharma went to X (formerly Twitter) to tell the story of the passengers’ misery. The 50-minute trip has apparently been postponed by six hours. On social media, the comedian called them out for their deceit and poor service. On Wednesday, Sharma accused the largest commercial airline in the nation of lying and allegedly mishandling customers. The famous comedian claims that the airline informed customers that the "pilot was stuck in traffic" as they waited for over an hour.

Dissatisfied with the flight's late departure, Kapil Sharma complained about the airline's dependability. Taking to X, Kapil wrote, "Dear IndiGo, first you made us wait in the bus for 50 minutes, and now your team is saying the pilot is stuck in traffic, what? really? we are supposed to take off by 8 pm and it’s 9:20, still, there is no pilot in the cockpit, do you think these 180 passengers will fly in Indigo again? Never."

He later provided an update with a video of people getting off the plane, writing, "Now they are de-boarding all the passengers and saying we will send you in another aircraft but again we have to go back to the terminal for security check."

While trying to get in touch with a high-ranking IndiGo official, Kapil Sharma also posted footage of customers arguing with ground workers.

Director Vivek Agnihotri had a similar experience just before Kapil Sharma voiced his problem with the airline. An IndiGo flight was approximately two hours late, according to Agnihotri. The Kashmir Files director also tweeted about this.
