'Don’t Give Me Directions': Jaya Bachchan Tells The Paparazzi At Hema Malini's 75th Birthday Bash
Jaya Bachchan once again grabbed everyone's attention as she entered the party for Hema Malini's 75th birthday.
New Delhi: Jaya Bachchan is known for her interactions with the paparazzi. The seasoned actor is often seen scolding them or making funny comments. As she entered the party for Hema Malini's 75th birthday hosted in Mumbai on Tuesday, Jaya Bachchan once again grabbed everyone's attention.
The actor was holding Padmini Kohlapure's hand as they walked as Jaya entered the space with her. Jaya attended the party dressed in a traditional beige outfit. She pulled her hair back into a bun and put a gajra to it. She gestured for the photographers to be quiet as they yelled her name. Jaya also stated to the photographers as she walked on the platform set up for photos, “Ye Padmini mujhe yahan lekar aayi hai…(Padmini has brought me here)”.
The paparazzi were delighted to see Jaya in a cheerful mood. Later, when the photographers urged her to look their way, she smiled and said, “Abhi aap log itna direction mat dijiye (Don’t give me so many directions).”

Hema's husband Dharmendra stood by her side as she cut the cake at the lavish birthday celebrations. Esha and Ahana, their daughters, were there as well, making it a lovely family gathering. A number of clips from the party were released online.

Other celebrities that joined Jaya and Padmini at the celebration in Mumbai were Dharmendra, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Raveena Tandon, Vidya Balan, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, and Shilpa Shetty. Hema had earlier in the day shared pictures of the weekend birthday celebration she had in Mathura.
