Family Man 3 Actor Rohit Basfore Found Dead In Assam, Murder Suspected

Actor Rohit Basfore, known for his role in the popular series Family Man 3, was found dead near a waterfall in the Garbhanga forest in Assam on Sunday evening.

Actor Rohit Basfore, known for his role in the popular series Family Man 3, was found dead near a waterfall in the Garbhanga forest in Assam on Sunday evening.

According to a report by Odisha Bytes, Basfore had returned to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months ago. His family stated that he had gone out for a day trip with friends around 12:30 pm on Sunday. However, concern grew when they lost contact with him later that evening.

Hours later, a friend informed the family about an accident. Although Rohit was rushed to a hospital, doctors declared him dead.

Family alleges foul play

Now, his family is alleging murder. They revealed that Rohit was recently involved in a parking dispute where three individuals — Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore — had allegedly threatened his life. They also named a gym owner, Amardeep, who had reportedly invited Rohit on the outing.

Police have launched a full investigation into the case. Officials confirmed that the actor had multiple injury marks on his body. "An autopsy was conducted at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Multiple injuries were found, including wounds on the head, face, and other parts of the body. We are investigating the matter, but the four accused are currently absconding," an official said.

Further probe in the case is underway.
