After turning heads at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival with her stunning red carpet appearances, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returned to Mumbai late Friday night, accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The mother-daughter duo was spotted at the Mumbai airport, where they were warmly welcomed by paparazzi and fans alike.

In viral clips circulating on social media, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were seen exiting the airport hand in hand. Aishwarya greeted photographers with a gentle smile and folded hands, while Aaradhya, walking closely beside her, also smiled at the onlookers. Protective as ever, Aishwarya kept her arm around her daughter as they made their way to their car amid a crowd.

Aishwarya’s Stunning Looks at Cannes 2025

For her first red carpet appearance at Cannes this year, Aishwarya opted for a regal, traditional avatar—an ivory handloom Banarasi saree with a dramatic lace train and extended pallu. Her second appearance showcased a more contemporary flair. Aishwarya wore a striking black shimmer gown by Gaurav Gupta, styled with a voluminous white cape that added a touch of drama to her look. She attended the screening of The History of Sound, directed by Oliver Hermanus.

Last seen in Mani Ratnam’s historical epic Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023), Aishwarya shared the screen with a stellar ensemble including Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The actor has not yet announced her next project.
