New Delhi: In a recent interview, actress Avneet Kaur disclosed a disturbing childhood experience in which she described how she handled misbehaviour during a Holi celebration. Known for being outspoken and honest, Avneet described how she once hit a young boy with a bat after he threw a water balloon at her.

Avneet, who has had a prosperous career in show business from an early age, recounted an audacious anecdote. She shared with Hauterrfly, "During Holi, I had asked one boy to not hit me, but he threw a water balloon on my bum. I thought, 'Bete, tu toh gaya. Pehle toh tune dekha nahi ki kitni khatarnak ladki hoon.' Maine pakda bat, pakad pakad ke dho diya. (I thought 'You are now gone. You have not seen how dangerous I am.' I took the bat and hit him)."

Avneet Kaur's Bold Response

The boy's mother immediately rushed to complain to Avneet's mother after learning about the event. "Fir uss ladke ki mummy aayi thi mere mummy ke paas, 'Aapki ladki ne mere ladke ko dho diya.' Mummy ne bola, 'Kyuki usne dhone wala kaam kiya. Aur kya kare? (His mother came to my mother and said 'Your daughter has hit my son.' My mother told her 'Because he has misbehaved. What else to do?)," she recalled.

During the interview, Avneet also discussed her path in the entertainment industry. She remembered her humble beginnings in Jalandhar and the ways her mother had given up so that she might follow her passions. She also reminisced about her stint as the youngest participant in the popular dance reality show 'Dance India Dance' (DID).
