Vidhu Vinod Chopra's '12th Fail' is about the struggles of UPSC aspirants and the struggles they face in real life while prepping for the exam. The film alos draws on these struggles.

'12th Fail' is a 2019 eponymous non-fiction book by Anurag Pathak about the real-life story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame extreme poverty to become an IPS officer.
'12th Fail' was released in theatres on October 27, 2023.
