New Delhi: The latest promo of the Friday special episode of ‘Bigg Boss 16’ has created quite a stir among television actors. The promo showed fight between TV actor Sreejita De and former Miss India Manya Singh. Both are seen hurling insults at each other. In the video, Manya taunted Sreejita about her profession and said, "I was the ambassador of this country. What you are? TV actress? Shaitan (evil)."
Manya’s comment has not gone down well with television actor Arjun Bijlani and former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan. Arjun took to Twitter and expressed his displeasure on Manya’s comment. He wrote, “"I’m sick of people passing comments like Yeh toh tv actress hai and or yeh toh tv actor hai .. And the funniest is they use the platform of tv and pass such comments. Don’t come on television if you have such a big problem. Tv big hai tha aur rahega . #BiggBoss16 (sic)."
Gauahar Khan also agreed with Arjun. Quote tweeting his post, she wrote, "Exactly, calling self an Indian ambassador and doesn’t know the basic of inclusion, tolerance and respect! #irony."
In the promo, Salman is also seen reprimanding Manya in his own style. He said during his conversation with the contestants, "Manya ke hisab se wo angaar hain aur baaki sab bhangaar hain (According to Manya, she is the best and others are junk)."
Apart from this, Salman hosts a special party for ten contestants of the house. It will be interesting to see who made it to this bash in the episode. Before the dinner begins, the host serves the truth in his quintessential style and advises the contestants to be themselves. He observes that Gautam is one such contestant who is not himself on the show. Salman also seeks MC Stan’s opinion on who's fake in the house. What will be worth watching is how the host’s recommendation alters the dynamics of everyone’s individual game in the weeks to come.
‘Bigg Boss 16’ airs Monday to Friday at 10.00 PM and every Saturday - Sunday at 9.30 PM on COLORS.
