Arjun Rampal's Sister Komal Rampal Summoned By NCB In Connection With Drugs Case

After Arjun Rampal and his partner Gabriella Demetriades, NCB has issued summons to his sister.

Arjun Rampal's sister Komal Rampal has been summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). She has been asked to visit the NCB office in Mumbai at 11 am. During the raid at Rampal's house, some prohibited drugs were recovered by the NCB, on which Rampal said those medicines belonged to his sister. A medicine slip was given to NCB by Arjun Rampal in the name of his sister, which was said to be fake. In the same case, Arjun Rampal's sister is called to question. The summons has come a few days after the bureau grilled Arjun and his partner Gabriella Demetriades amid the drug nexus case in Bollywood. Moreover, Arjun had stated on January 1, 2021, about never being on the 'wrong side of the law'. In a statement shared on Twitter, Arjun wrote, 'So, as we head into 2021 it is concern that makes me pen down my thoughts of a year that filled millions of lives with fear, anxiety, disruption, scandals, hypocrisy, lies, truths, realisation, enlightenment, bravery, strength, courage, charity, confusion, clarity and character. Most of these emotions I have felt myself, as I silently observed each and every one of them overwhelm me with an emotion that each of the adjectives bring.' Arjun had penned, 'I would like to assure each and every one of you that I am well aware of my responsibility as a celebrity, a father and a citizen of a country I love dearly that I have never been on the wrong side of the law. You all have nothing to fear or speculate as I have done nothing wrong. I love you all and going forward we shall only spread love and peace together. There is no room for any negativity in our space.' Meanwhile, ANI had reported on December 22, 2020, that Arjun can be called for re-questioning due to 'discrepancy' in his statement, said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB, and Mumbai. 'There was a discrepancy in Arjun Rampal's statement. He can be called for questioning once again,' said Wankhede. Earlier, Rampal had sought time till December 21 to appear before the NCB. He was summoned by the anti-drug agency to appear before it on December 16.
