Anushka Sharma Slams Puma For Using Her Photo Without Permission, Asks Brand To Take It Down
Puma has come under fire from Anushka Sharma for posting her photo without her consent.
New Delhi: Actor Anushka Sharma condemns Puma for using her photo on their social media account for promotion. The sports apparel brand has come under fire for posting her photo without her consent. The actor posted the photo on her Instagram story after seeing it on Puma's account.
"Hey, Puma India? I’m sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I’m not your ambassador. Please take it down!," the actor wrote along with the image.
Earlier, the actor posted a sun-kissed photo on her social media account in the year 2020. In the photo, she was seen showing off her perfectly toned abs while wearing a canary yellow sports bra from Puma along with a pair of cropped leggings.

Puma India recently posted the same image on their Instagram page along with a few other pictures of the actor wearing the apparel of the clothing brand.

However, despite Anushka's appeal for the band to remove the pictures, they are still visible on their Instagram account.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma appeared in 'Qala' as a yesteryear starlet in a cameo role. She showed up in the song 'Ghodey Pe Sawaar', which was sung by Tripti Dimri's character Qala Manjushree, in a black-and-white montage as a 1940s star lip-syncing in the song.
She will soon play the legendary Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami in the highly anticipated movie 'Chakda Xpress'.
