Amber Heard Breaks Down In Court As She Testifies Her Sexual Assault By Johnny Depp
Depp has disputed the allegations of physical violence levelled against him by Amber Heard.
New Delhi: A teary-eyed Amber Heard testified against Johnny Depp on Wednesday, recounting how he went from slaps to a cavity examination to find drugs, all the way through.
It's been reported that Depp has disputed the allegations of physical violence levelled against him by Amber Heard, who is suing him after she penned an op-ed in The Washington Post in which she claimed to be the victim of domestic abuse.
It is Heard's lawyer's contention that Depp physically and sexually assaulted her, and she intends to make her case when she testifies early in the week.
In the trial, most of the emphasis has been on the question of whether or not Heard was abused, which Depp disputes. Heard made his first appearance in court on Wednesday. According to her, Depp once aggressively did what he termed a "cavity search" on her.
Heard said that after a night of drinking and potentially drug usage, she and Depp went to her trailer, where Depp started destroying items and accused her of hiding cocaine. Heard said Depp ripped her dress and pulled her pants because he thought the drugs were in her vagina.
Recalling the assault, Amber said, "He rips my underwear off and then he proceeds to do a cavity search. He said he was looking for his drugs, his cocaine, his coke."
Further she added, “He shoved his finger inside me and I just, stood there staring at the stupid light. I didn't know what to do."
At one point in her evidence, Amber Heard described feeling "very lonely" after she was sexually abused by Johnny Depp.
The 36-year-old actress testified under oath in front of the jury on Wednesday in Fairfax, Virginia, about her relationship with 58-year-old Depp, whom she met while filming The Rum Diary in 2011.
