The makers of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna-starrer film 'Pushpa - The Rise' have finally unveiled the much-anticipated trailer on Monday.
The nearly two-and-a-half-minute trailer unravels the complex struggle between the natives of the forests in which the rare red sandalwood grows and those who smuggle it overseas.
The trailer is packed with action, violence, powerful dialogues and romance.
Giving a glimpse into the intense, action-oriented story of 'Pushpa: The Rise', the trailer introduces all the main leads in the movie. Allu Arjun's mass avatar as a sandalwood smuggler is established with his action sequences and dances, while other characters are introduced in small glimpses.
Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Fassil, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay Gosh, and others play important roles in the movie.
A special song will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu dancing alongside Allu Arjun, which is expected to be a blockbuster song from the album. This song is to mark Samantha's first special appearance for a special dance number in any movie.Ever since the announcement was made, there are speculations on Samantha's remuneration for the special song in the upcoming crime thriller 'Pushpa'. While some media houses report that the 'Majili' actress has demanded a whopping price of as much as 1.5 crore, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.
Written and directed by Sukumar, the film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media.
The film is scheduled to release on December 17, 2021, in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages.
