'Go, Beg In Pakistan If...': Yogi Adityanath's Jibe At Opposition
UP CM Yogi Adityanath asked those who "love Pakistan" to "go there and beg" instead of becoming a burden on India.
Uttar Pradesh Minister Yogi Adityanath lashed out at Congress and I.N.D.I.A bloc on Wednesday over their "love for Pakistan" and said that "those who are singing for Pakistan, ask them if they love Pakistan this much then why they are a burden on this country, go there and beg".
These remarks came in after Congress leader and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy raised doubts over whether or not the Balakot airstrikes even took place and flagged Intelligence Bureau over its inability to avert the Pulwama attack. Besides this, Congress's Mani Shankar Aiyar's "India should give respect to Pakistan as it has atom bomb" remark has also sparked a major political row, following which the grand old party has received flak from the ruling BJP.
While criticising the opposition during a public meeting in Hamirpur in Mahoba, UP, the UP CM said: "If Pakistan has atom bombs, do we have atom bombs to keep in the fridge?"
Yogi also claimed at the rally that "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has uplifted 25 crore people from poverty and has made their lives better in the last decade, more than Pakistan's population."

The Congress-Pakistan Controversy
Last week, Telangana CM Revath Reddy had came down heavily on PM Modi and criticised him for attempting to get political benefit from the surgical strike after Pulwama attack.
“Why did the Pulwama incident happen? Why did you let it happen? What are you doing about internal security? Why did you not use agencies like IB, and R&AW? It is your failure...Nobody knows to date if a surgical strike actually took place. So, internal security is Congress' responsibility," Reddy said.
Telangana CM's remarks also drew flak from BJP as the saffron party criticised Congress for and "questioning the "bravery of the military and putting India under question on the issue of terrorism and giving a clean chit to Pakistan".
"This is the real intention of Congress and hence they are getting support from Pakistan," BJP spkesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said.
Congress's Mani Shankar Aiyar had on the other hand stated during an interview, the video of which went viral on social media that "India should respect Pakistan as it has an atom bomb".
"If we don't give them respect, they'll think of using an atom bomb against India. India showing muscular policy should not forget that Pakistan also has muscle (atom bomb) at Kahuta (Rawalpindi)," Aiyar said.
Follwing these remarks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, and several other BJP leaders had lashed out at Congress, accusing the party of maintining ties with Pakistan. BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla had also hit out at Congress saying that Aiyar's remarks showcase the party's affinity towards Pakistan.
