Rajasthan Assembly Election: Sachin Pilot says Congress will get comfortable majority, people will teach lesson to BJP
In the state, which is currently ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party with Vasundhara Raje as its Chief Minister, election will be held on December 7 along with Telangana. Counting of votes will be taken up in all the five states on December 11.
NEW DELHI: Ahead of assembly election Rajasthan, Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot, in ABP News’ Shikhar Sammelan, claimed that Congress party will get comfortable. He attacked at the ruling BJP government and said “Vasundhara Government has not done any work in the last 5 years. In the state, women are being tortured and injustice is happening with Dalits. The people of Rajasthan have made up their mind and they will peacefully teach a lesson to the BJP on December 7.”
Commenting about the chief minister face in Rajasthan, he said that the legislature party will decide who'll be the chief minister after the elections. He added “this is not a presidential election. It's the party that wins and MLAs decide who will be their leader.”
Further talking about the internal functioning of his party in the state, Pilot said, “if there was any rift in the Congress party in Rajasthan, he would have lost by-polls.” "Hearts of people do not change by speeches or advertisements. The BJP gave only ‘jumlas’ to the youths of Rajasthan in the last five years," said Congress chief Sachin Pilot Pilot said "Rajasthan is a peaceful state. During Manmohan Singh's government, it was never seen which leader is going to which temple or monastery. BJP only does politics of religion and nowadays it is making an election issue."
