CEC Addresses Voter Name Deletion And EVM Manipulation Claims

CEC Rajiv Kumar said there were 10.5 lakh polling booths with 45 lakh polling officials manning them last year. Rajiv Kumar further pointed out that even the Supreme Court has said that EVM cannot be hacked. "The court said EVMs are tamper-proof and a foolproof way to count votes. There is no evidence of unreliability or drawback in EVM," he quoted an SC order.
