'BJP Rishtedar Samithi': Rahul Gandhi Attacks KCR, Alleges Nexus Between BRS And BJP At Telangana Rally
Addressing a rally in poll-bound Telangana, Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress were not only fighting the Bharat Rashtra Samithi but the triple front of the BRS, BJP and AIMIM.
New Delhi: In a scathing attack on the ruling BRS in Telangana, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday alleged a nexus with the BJP, calling it the “BJP Rishtedar Samithi”. He claimed further that while opposition leaders in other states were being hounded and harassed by central agencies, there were no cases against BRS chief and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi as Prime Minister Narendra Modi “considers them his own”.
"BJP, BRS & MIM are not different, they are all the same. Congress in Telangana is fighting against all these three parties."

Addressing a rally in Tukkuguda in the poll-bound state, Gandhi said that the Congress in Telangana were not only fighting the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) but the triple front of the BRS, BJP and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), news agency PTI reported.
“They call each other separate parties but they are working together in collusion. I have seen BRS MPs in Lok Sabha. When BJP needed them, their (BRS) people supported it,” the Congress leader said, according to PTI.
To support his claim, he also cited BRS’s alleged support to the BJP on farm laws, GST, as well as the polls to elect the President and the Vice President.
Claiming that the BJP leaned towards the BRS for support whenever it needed it, Gandhi said, "We chose our (Congress Working Committee) meeting today and all three parties (BRS, BJP, AIMIM) also went into a huddle. But they failed in their bid to play spoilsport and disrupt our meeting.”
He claimed that while the Enforcement Directorate, the CBI and the Income Tax Department were going after Opposition leaders in other states, “there is no case against CM KCR and AIMIM”.
“Only the opposition is attacked. Modi-ji never attacks his own people. He regards your CM and AIMIM leaders as his own, and therefore, there are no cases filed against them,” Rahul Gandhi said, addressing a public meeting in the state on Sunday.
“All corruption records have been broken (in Telangana) but there is no case (against the CM)," the Congress leader added.
