Karnataka CET 2019: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has begun the application process for the Common Entrance Test (CET) on the official website of - kea.kar.nic.in.

Karnataka CET 2019: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has begun the application process for the Common Entrance Test (CET) on the official website of - kea.kar.nic.in. KEA is scheduled to conduct the CET 2019 on 23rd  and  24th April 2019 for candidates seeking admissions to Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science courses, B.Pharma and other Professional courses in the institutions across the state of Karnataka. KEA would be organizing Kannada Language Test only for Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates on 25th April 2019. Interested candidates must register themselves and submit their online applications on or before 28th February 2019, 5:30 pm. Karnataka CET 2019 – Important Dates: Online application process ends – 28th February 2019, 5:30 pm Last date to pay application fee via e-post office/ banks – 6th March 2019, (during banking hours) Correction Window – 19th to 25th March 2019, 5:30 pm Download of Admit Cards – 16th April 2019 Karnataka CET 2019 Exam Date – 23rd & 24th April 2019 Date of Kannada language Test – 25th April 2019 Karnataka CET 2019 – Exam Schedule: Tuesday, April 23rd 2019: Biology - 10.30 am – 11.50 am Mathematics - 02.30 pm – 03.50 pm Wednesday, April 24th 2019: Physics - 10.30 am – 11.50 am Chemistry - 02.30 pm – 03.50 pm Thursday, April 25th 2019: Kannada Language Test - 11.30 am to 12.30 pm Eligibility Criteria: Engineering Courses: Candidature will be considered taking marks in equal proportions in QE and CET in PCM subjects. The applicant must be passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / BioTechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates). Medical Courses: For admissions to Medical or Dental or AYUSH [Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani and Homoeopathy] courses, candidates need to qualify NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2019. Architecture Courses: Candidate must qualify National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or JEE Paper-2 examination for admissions to architecture courses. The must be passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and also 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam in all the subjects. (45% for SC, ST, Cat1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates). Candidates must read through the official information brochure to ascertain their eligibility for various courses.
