Following the attack, the society secretary was rushed to a private hospital for treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.

A simple dispute over a parking space in a high-rise residential society in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh has escalated into a heated argument, resulting in a flat owner biting the nose of the society's secretary. The incident captured on CCTV has surfaced on social media.

The incident took place in the premises of Ratan Planet Apartment, located in Kanpur's Naramau, where the secretary of the society, identified as Rupendra Singh Yadav, was reportedly assaulted by fellow resident Kshitij Mishra. The dispute was triggered over a car parked at a place where Mishra claims was reserved for him, according to a report by NDTV.

As per the complaint filed by the victim claimed that Mishra called him in the evening and complained about another vehicle parked at his designated space. Yadav reportedly told the security guard to deal with the situation, but Mishra demanded that Yadav come down personally.

As soon as Yadav arrived in the parking area, tensions flared. CCTV footage captures Mishra slapping Yadav during their argument, then grabbing him by the neck and biting his nose. The video also shows Yadav stumbling, with blood visible on his shirt.

Following the attack, Yadav's children rushed him to a private hospital for treatment. He later lodged a formal complaint at the Bithoor police station, identifying Kshitij Mishra as the assailant. Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
