Mahayuti Alliance In Danger? Uddhav Hints Big After Reunion With Raj Thackeray For Upcoming Polls

Uddhav Thackeray signaled a potential alliance with cousin Raj Thackeray's MNS, ending two decades of animosity.

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray hinted towards a larger alliance between his party and his once-estranged cousin Raj Thackeray's MNS party. Addressing a mega joint rally which showed both the brothers embracing each other after the animosity of 20 long years, Uddhav said he and Raj Thackeray will together capture power in the upcoming BMC elections in Mumbai and later Maharashtra.

Uddhav asserted that he and Raj have "come together to stay together", adding both will capture power in the Mumbai civic body and Maharashtra together.

After two decades, the Thackeray cousins shared the public stage and hosted a victory gathering, titled 'Awaj Marathicha', to celebrate the rollback of two GRs issued earlier by the government introducing Hindi as a third language from class 1 in state schools.

"Our strength is in our unity, whenever some challenging time comes, we all come together, but we all have experienced that when the challenging time passes, we all go for our personal interests, which should not happen this time...," Uddhav added.
