PM Modi Pens Blog As Maha Kumbh Ends: 'Please Forgive Me If...'

PM Modi praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government for serving the devotees from across the world at Maha Kumbh Mela.

PM Narendra Modi penned a blog on the culmination of the 45-day Maha Kumbh Mela that saw the record-breaking participation of over 66 crore people from January 13 to February 26.

PM Modi apologised to the public if they found the arrangements inadequate. "I know that organising such a grand event was not easy. I pray to Ma Ganga...Ma Yamuna...Ma Saraswati to forgive us if there were any shortcomings in our devotion. The people, whom I consider a form of the divine, if there were any shortcomings in our service to the devotees, I also seek forgiveness from them."

PM Modi's Praise For Yogi-Led UP Govt

PM Modi praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led government for serving the devotees from across the world. He said the organisation of this Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj has become a subject of study for modern management professionals, planners, and policy experts. He added that there is no parallel to such a massive gathering globally.

"The world is astonished at how, without formal invitations or prior schedules, millions gathered at the riverbank, at the Triveni Sangam. Pilgrims embarked on their journey to the Maha Kumbh and felt blessed by taking a holy dip in the sacred confluence," PM Modi wrote.

PM Modi said it was heartening for him to witness a significant number of today's youth participating in the Maha Kumbh. "The active involvement of India's younger generation in such events sends a powerful message. It reinforces the belief that our youth are the torchbearers of our culture and traditions, understanding their responsibility to carry them forward with dedication and resolve," he wrote.
