Ruckus At BJP Minority Front Meeting As Workers Fly Slaps, Bruises Over Climbing Stage: Watch

A BJP Minority Front meeting in Jaipur turned chaotic when two workers clashed over stage access during a welcome event for the newly elected state president.

A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Minority Front turned dramatic on Thursday after two workers clashed over who would access the stage. The meeting was held in Jaipur to welcome the newly-elected state president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Madan Rathore.

However, tensions escalated when the two-party workers got involved in a brawl.

The incident took place on Thursday during a gathering at the BJP state office,  chaired by Hamid Khan Mewati, president of the BJP Minority Front. The meeting was attended by party officials, including state office-bearers, district presidents, and district general secretaries.

BJP's newly-elected state president and Rajya Sabha member, Madan Rathore, was the chief guest at the event.

The altercation occurred when party worker Fariduddin Jackie attempted to climb onto the stage while Javed Qureshi, the General Secretary of the Minority Front, intervened and stopped Jackie from reaching the stage.

This led to a physical confrontation between the two. The situation was eventually de-escalated when Madan Rathore stepped in, calming both leaders and bringing the matter to a resolution.

Mewati explained that workers from across the state had gathered in Jaipur to honour the newly elected state president, Madan Rathore. "There was no ill intention behind the gathering, but a small incident occurred due to a misunderstanding while attempting to climb the stage," he said while speaking to local media.

He also stressed that the enthusiasm and spirit of the workers should be recognised, as they are eager to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the BJP and help move the party forward.
