Jacqueline Fernandez's Dance At Wedding Of BJP Leader Narendra Tomar's Son Sparks Row

Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar's son's wedding sparked controversy due to a dance performance by actor Jacqueline Fernandez.

A grand wedding celebration hosted by Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker and BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar for his son, Prabal Pratap Tomar, has sparked a political controversy, thanks to a dance performance by actor Jacqueline Fernandez.

The wedding drew a host of VIP guests from politics and Bollywood. The ceremony took place at Jaipur’s iconic Jai Mahal Palace, where Prabal married Arundhati Singh Rajawat in a lavish event attended by several top leaders and celebrities.

The pre-wedding festivities, held three days prior in Gwalior, featured performances by Bollywood stars Jacqueline Fernandez and singer B Praak. However, Fernandez's dance performance sparked backlash on social media due to its timing, as it came shortly after the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives. Many slammed the extravagant entertainment amid national mourning.

"When the whole country is mourning the Pahalgam attack, Jacqueline Fernandez is dancing at the wedding of Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Narendra Tomar's son. BJP's nationalism is just a shame," one X user said.
