Massive Fire At Noida Sector 63 Slum, 10 Fire Engines Called For Rescue Ops: Video
On Saturday, a fire erupted in Noida's Sector 63 slum, spreading to a warehouse. Ten fire engines extinguished the blaze, preventing casualties.

A massive fire broke out in Noida Sector-63, Uttar Pradesh, early on Saturday, April 5. The plumes of black smoke from the fire could be seen several kilometres away.
ADCP Central Noida, Hirdesh Katheria, said, "Sector 63 police station received an alert of a fire in Sector 63. The fire started at a hut in a slum in Bahlolpur and spread to a nearby warehouse. The situation was brought under control with the help of 10 fire engines."
Katheria said there was no loss of life. An investigation into the incident has been started.

Second Fire In A Month
Barely a month ago, on March 6, a fire had gutted a part of a slum in Chotpur, Noida Sector 63. This is the same area where Saturday's fire broke out.
Again, on March 16, a fire broke out at a garment factory in Sector 63.

A fortnight later, yet another fire broke out at a Surajpur factory, trapping several workers inside. They were rescued after much effort by firefighters.

On April 1, a blaze engulfed Krishna Plaza in Sector 18. Trapped people jumped out of the building to save their lives. Many were injured in the process.
