A massive fire broke out at Sector 18 in Noida on Tuesday. Visuals showed huge flames and black smoke engulfing the market, which is just near the metro station.

People were seen jumping from the building as fire department vehicles arrived at the scene. The blaze broke out in a showroom located in a commercial building, and firefighting teams are currently engaged in extinguishing the fire.

Firefighters on site stated that their priority was saving lives and controlling the blaze, with damage assessments to follow later. They also rescued several individuals from inside the building.

Those trapped inside were seen covering their faces with a towel or handkerchief. The firefighters reached the upper floors using hydraulic equipment, and efforts were on to extinguish the fire.
