Entry To Dwarka Expressway From Daulatabad Chowk Closed For 44 Days, To Affect These Routes
Barriers have been installed at the entry of the connecting flyover on the main carriageway. The closure will last until April 30.

The Dwarka Expressway entry to Delhi at Daulatabad Chowk has been closed for 44 days starting March 18 as work to replace the expansion joint gets underway, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said.
Barriers have been installed at the entry of the connecting flyover on the main carriageway. The closure will last until April 30. An NHAI post on X warned commuters of the inconvenience, stating: "Due to expansion joint replacement work, the entry from the elevated service road at Daulatabad Chowk towards #Delhi on #DwarkaExpressway will be closed from March 18 till April 30, 2025, for 44 days.”
Impact On Daily Commuters
The closure will affect travellers from Sector 99 to 106 in Gurugram, as well as residents from Dhankot, Basai and Kherki Majra. Commuters will now have to use the surface road and merge onto the expressway after the Bijwasan toll plaza.
Residents who routinely use the route to travel to Delhi Airport, Dwarka and other parts of the national capital are bracing for delays. "This road was constructed to reduce congestion on NH-48 but now commuters will have to retake the same overcrowded route," one commuter said.
Call For Better Traffic Management
Another commuter expressed concern over the extra travel time, saying that the detour could add at least two hours to their daily commute. “This will significantly impact our daily lives. I hope they are thinking of putting in better ways for us ordinary people,” an officegoer said.
Commuters are urging NHAI to implement enhanced traffic management measures to ease the disruption during the closure period.
