Nestle India CMD Suresh Narayanan Becomes Highest Paid FMCG CEO In The Country
Suresh Narayanan has surpassed HUL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Mehta to take the top spot on the list. He took home an overall salary of Rs 17.19 crore in CY2020.
New Delhi: Suresh Narayanan, Chairman & Managing Director of Nestle India, has become the highest-paid CEO in the FMCG industry in India. Narayanan has surpassed Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Mehta to occupy the top spot in the list.
Suresh Narayanan ranks first
According to Nestle's annual report for CY2020, Suresh Narayanan earned Rs 17.19 crore as an overall salary during this period. This is a jump of 6.3 percent as compared to Rs 16.17 crore he had drawn in CY2019.

Sanjiv Mehta's earnings stood at Rs 19.42 crore last year and he was number one on the list.
However, his earnings in FY21 declined to Rs 15.4 crore and he slipped to the second spot on the list. Mehta is followed by Marico's Saugata Gupta in the third position with earnings of Rs 14.02 crore.
