Jio Fiber Launch: Mukesh Ambani Is Back With Free TVs This Time; Check Subscription Plans

Expectations are widely high as experts believe that the increased competition in broadband sector will lead to price wars among the telcos which will eventually benefit the customers.

Reliance Jio is set to launch its fiber-to-the-home service 'Jio Fiber'.
Plans start at Rs 700 a month with speeds capped at 100 Mbps.
Ambani also introduced 'Jio Forever Plans' which gives users an HD or 4k LED television.
New Delhi: Three years after disrupting the Indian wireless phone market with free calls and 4G internet, billionaire Mukesh Ambani is once again back to revolutionise the traditional television consumption process across the masses in the country. According to reports, Reliance Group-owned telco Reliance Jio is set to launch its fiber-to-the-home service 'Jio Fiber' across the country today. The JioFiber will be accompanied a bunch of services including a 'free' 4K television set, a fixed-line phone service, a gaming-capable set-top-box and Jio Internet of Things (IoT).
