Blinkit's Heartwarming Gesture To Hospital-Bound Customer Goes Viral On LinkedIn
In addition to delivering the items promptly, the company also included a heartfelt message: "We noticed your order is from a hospital. Sending you and your dear ones our warmest wishes"
A customer named Prabhat Motwani recently recounted a touching experience with Blinkit, the online grocery delivery platform. Placing an order from a hospital, Motwani was deeply moved by the thoughtful and considerate response from the company.
Motwani took to LinkedIn to share his story, describing how Blinkit swiftly prioritised his order upon discovering it originated from a hospital. In addition to delivering the items promptly, the company also included a heartfelt message: "We noticed your order is from a hospital. Sending you and your dear ones our warmest wishes."
He reflected on how this simple gesture brought brightness to his day amidst a difficult period. “It's a very small thing they can ignore among thousands of customers, but this can lift up someone's mood who has been in the hospital for the last few days. It's great to see companies go beyond transactions and show genuine care for their customers," he added, attaching a screenshot of the message.
This LinkedIn post by Motwani saw several comments from internet users. One LinkedIn user wrote, “Have experience such with two three brands one of was like happened with Naturals Ice Cream. We like their Malai Khurma ice cream, but it only comes during Eid and Diwali. We discovered this when it was removed from their menu. I messaged them on Instagram, mentioning how much we love that ice cream, and my wife was craving it. They replied that it’s only available for Eid and Diwali. We were disappointed, but the next day, they messaged us that a few stocks were available and for two days it would be in stock, so we could order from a specific store with a coupon code. That made our day and turned us into loyal customers. I love how some brands take care of their customers and add a small personal touch to their services.
