Is This The New Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV For India?

Maruti is due to launch the new Brezza on the 30th and this new SUV is the Toyota version which will be revealed on the 1st of July.

New Delhi: An image has been leaked that shows the upcoming new Toyota SUV being leaked via an ad shoot. The nameplate reads as Hyryder but above that reads Urban Cruiser also if looked carefully. Then it means that this is the new Brezza from Toyota or the new Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Maruti is due to launch the new Brezza on the 30th and this new SUV is the Toyota version which will be revealed on the 1st of July. The Hyryder name confirms that it would be part of an SUV family with the other big new Creta rival positioned above the new Urban Cruiser.

The new Toyota version of the Brezza gets the Urban Cruiser tag but adds in a Hyryder name as well. The new SUV also looks completely different from the new Brezza with a new front-end thanks to slim LED DRLs and headlamps below.

The grille is slim too along with a two-part bumper set-up as well. The grille also has a Toyota logo with a chrome outline too. The car shown seems to have a black roof and a dual-tone colour plus like the new Brezza will get a new interior with the 9inch touch-screen along with features like a 360 degree camera, sunroof, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and rear ac vents plus more.

The engine would be a 1.5l petrol with mild hybrid set-up while new would be a 6-speed automatic gearbox along with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The automatic gearbox would also come with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. The Toyota version of the new Brezza would be launched after the new Brezza within a month.
