Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition: An Exclusive Luxury SUV For A Select Few
The G63 Grand Edition includes the AMG logo and the Mercedes star in a Kalahari gold-magno shade, similar to the first ever G Model from 1979.
Mercedes-AMG has launched a limited edition of its G63 AMG luxury off-roader only reserved for its high-end car buyers. The G63 Grand Edition is limited to just 25 units in India and would be available only for current customers of its high-end range of cars like the Maybach. The G63 Grand Edition is a more exclusive G-Class with additional luxury elements along with some bespoke touches.
These changes to the G63 Grand Edition include the AMG logo and Mercedes star in a Kalahari gold-mango shade, which is similar to the first ever G Model from 1979.
This special edition is also painted in a bespoke night black-magno colour along with gold detailing. In terms of the wheels, it has special 22-inch forged AMG alloys which also have a gold finish. Look closer and you will see matte black central locking nuts plus the Mercedes emblem is also in gold. The gold bits are also there to contrast the paint shade.
In fact, gold is everywhere including the spare wheel cover, the under-body protection and more.
Inside, the G63 Grand Edition has a black and gold cabin with contrast elements while the seats come in Manufaktur black Nappa leather with gold stitching. Elsewhere, there are leather-wrapped roof handles plus other trim features come in Carbon fibre too.
This special edition does not see any change in its powertrain as it is a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 producing 577 hp in the G63. There is also a huge amount of torque with 850 Nm which means it will do 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 secs along with a 220km top speed
Deliveries of this ‘Grand Edition’ will start from Q1 2024 while being priced at Rs 4 crore.
