Kushaq Explorer Concept Points At A Future Rugged Skoda. Check Details
Compared to the standard Kushaq, these tyres have a taller profile and could be more suited to handle tougher road conditions.
While announcing its plans for a new small SUV below 4m, Skoda also showed a rugged concept based on the Kushaq. Called the Kushaq Explorer Concept, it gets various changes over the standard Kushaq.
While being decked up in this new matte green shade, the Kushaq Explorer Concept also gets black alloy wheels wrapped around all-terrain tyres plus thicker cladding all around.
Compared to the standard Kushaq, these tyres have a taller profile and could be more suited to handle tougher road conditions.
There is also contrast orange detailing in terms of orange tow hooks and more orange details splashed all over the car.
Elsewhere, the Kushaq Explorer Concept gets a roof rack with a light bar while there are more blackened elements like the external mirrors and the grille.
Inside, the matte green colour is also on the dashboard which is in contrast to the seats.
There are some interesting feature additions though with a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, a heads-up display plus an air purifier.
For rear passengers there is also a sunshade which is a new feature addition while the space is the same as a standard Kushaq with the same wheelbase.
While the powertrains are the same just like on the standard Kushaq, the Explorer Edition could have more ground clearance which sort of justifies the Explorer tag but we do not expect any mechanical changes.
While there have been special edition Kushaq models before like the Monte Carlo and more, this brings in a more extensive set of changes and Skoda could launch this in the future as a more rugged version while also bringing in a new set of buyers.
