Tata Sierra Petrol First Look: Review, Expected Price And Features

Auto Expo 2025: There are 19 inch alloys along with a healthy amount of ground clearance. Tata has also kept the wraparound effect for the design which is a Sierra trademark

Auto Expo 2025: The big news at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is of course the Tata Sierra since it brings back an old badge. This is the closer to production version and this is the ICE engined car. The new Sierra looks very good for sure and has a boxy look to it. It does maintain the concept like design but the ICE version has a different tweaked grille as you can see. The surfaces are minimalist but there are also flush door handles along with slim LED headlights.

There are 19 inch alloys along with a healthy amount of ground clearance. Tata has also kept the wraparound effect for the design which is a Sierra trademark. Of course the bright yellow paint also gets attention. Inside, the Sierra gets no less than three screens with a large central unit and a digital instrument cluster. The third screen is for the passenger to operate.

Space seems big and it is a 5 seater with good amount of room thanks to the boxy roofline. You also have an illuminated steering wheel plus topend versions will have a lounge seating option. Feature list would be long with a panoramic sunroof, Adas level 2, 6 airbags, 360 degree camera and more. Engine options will include the new 1.5 litre turbo petrol with 170ps while there would be a diesel too.

The diesel would be a 2.0l unit. Expect automatic and manual transmission options. The EV version will get a dual motor layout with AWD. We expect the Sierra to slot in between the Curvv and Harrier with the starting price expected to be closer to the Harrier. Expect a launch towards the end of the year with pricing between the Rs 10-15 lakh mark for the petrol starting while top end versions would be above Rs 20 lakh
