Aprilia RS 457 Vs Tuono 457: Which One Suits You?
The major difference in the motorcycles is the slightly more accessible pricing as the Aprilia RS 457 is priced at Rs 4.20 lakh while the Tuono ducks below the 4 lakh barrier at Rs 3.95 lakh.

The Aprilia RS 457 and the Tuono 457 are, of course, related but there are some subtle differences between the two. The obvious bit is the slightly more accessible pricing as the Aprilia RS 457 is priced at Rs 4.20 lakh while the Tuono ducks below the 4 lakh barrier at Rs 3.95 lakh. The other design bit is the different look for both of the motorcycles.
The Tuono is the naked version and the RS 457 has a fully faired design. The Tuono also has a different headlamp design and fewer body panels. The RS 457 has the distinctive triple pod headlamp which is not there on the Tuono while the tail section is also different. There are fewer colour choices for the Tuono 457 vs the RS 457.
The other difference is the handlebar between the two bikes. The Tuono 457 has the conventional and the upright riding position as against the clip on handlebars of the RS 457. The RS 457 is more extreme and the Tuono 457 is more for everyday riding with a bit more comfort in mind.
Both motorcycles have the same weight and the same seat height along with many of the electronics. The 457cc parallel-twin engine and the gearbox are the same, so are the features which go along with it. However, the Tuono has a slightly different gearing than the RS 457 which could result in a slightly different riding experience. The RS 457 has the more outright top speed and the larger fuel tank too.
Overall, while sharing the features and having many similar functions, both motorcycles are different with the RS 457 being for the more committed rider with its racer fully faired stance. The Tuono 457 is more practical and for taller riders.
