Who is Bhupendra Dutt mentioned by PM Modi in Lok Sabha speech?
In his 100 minute long speech in Lok Sabha, PM Modi argued at great length the need to protect the Hindu minority in Pakistan. PM Modi invoked two names to present his case, Bhupendra Kumar Dutt, a freedom fighter and member of Indian National Congress who decided to stay in Pakistan after partition and Jogendra Nath Mandal, former Law Minister of Pakistan. PM Modi said that both of them were forced to leave Pakistan which proves that Hindus were facing oppression in Pakistan right after the partition.
