WB CM faces another jolt as Banasri Maity resigns from TMC
Since yesterday (Thursday), five leaders have made a distance from the party. After Shubhendu Adhikari, Sheelbhadra Dutta, Jitendra Tiwari and Kabirul Islam, now Banasri Maity, the MLA from North Kathi, has resigned from the primary membership of the party.
There is speculation that these leaders may join the BJP along with Shubhendu Adhikari. Home Minister Amit Shah is going on a tour of West Bengal on Saturday. TMC leaders can join BJP on this occasion.
