Srinagar: Alert issued over severe cold for next 48 hours

The whole of North India is facing extreme cold conditions. Even heavy snowfall occurred in the mountains. In Srinagar, the mercury fell to an extent that Dal Lake froze. The next 48 hours in the Kashmir Valley can be very cold. 

In view of this, people have been advised to take precautionary measures. After the warnings of the Meteorological Department, people in the entire region have made more preparations for battling the cold.
