Violence was reported in Cooch Behar during the early hours of phase 4 voting in West Bengal. As per the latest update, 4 people have been shot dead in the ruckus and 4 are seriously injured. TMC has accused that CRPF opened fire during the incident which led to the death of 4 people. 

Voting for the fourth phase of the West Bengal elections 2021 is underway to decide the fate of 373 candidates. Among those in fray in today's polling include Union Minister Babul Supriyo, West Bengal ministers Partha Chatterjee and Arup Biswas, and two other members of Parliament.
