'Rescue was difficult due to low visibility', says Fire operator
Several questions have been raised on the system and government after tragic fire accident of Delhi in the wee hours of Sunday near Anaj Mandi area. The incident killed 43 people and several are in critical condition at the hospital. The narrow lanes coupled with single entry and exit points posed a big hurdle for the Delhi Fire Services as the tiny passages which can barely accommodate a single person could not provide smooth passage for the big fire truck which came to rescue the people and douse the flames.
