Punjab: Nanded returned pilgrim dies due to coronavirus
In Punjab, a 58-year-old Nanded returned pilgrim has lost his life due to COVID-19. He was admitted to Ludhiana's civil hospital after facing respiratory problems. Punjab has reported more than 1700 coronavirus cases and 30 deaths, but this is the first death reported among Nanded returned pilgrims. Cases in Punjab shot up after the state government brought back pilgrims from Maharashtra's Nanded.
