Maharashtra CM Oath: Did RSS Support Propel Devendra Fadnavis to Become CM? | Sandeep Chaudhary

Amid the political turmoil in Maharashtra over the past few days, the Mahayuti alliance formed a new government on Thursday (December 5). In a grand ceremony held at Azad Maidan in South Mumbai, Devendra Fadnavis took the oath as Chief Minister. Additionally, the new government has reinstated the structure of having two Deputy Chief Ministers. Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde and NCP chief Ajit Pawar have been appointed as Deputy CMs.

Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar. This marks the third time Devendra Fadnavis has taken charge as the state's Chief Minister. In the previous government, Eknath Shinde served as the Chief Minister, while BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and NCP president Ajit Pawar held the roles of Deputy Chief Ministers. The leadership has now shifted in the new government.
